Production Welding

Sherwood Manufacturing Corporation is a welding and fabrication shop located in the small town of Northport, MI. Sherwood has been doing work as a Tier one supplier for Ford Motor Company and Harley Davidson for over 30 years. We specialize in mass production of small to medium size weldments. Our plant is equipped with 12 MIG FANUC robots that are ready to work.

What separates us from other production welding companies is our improved innovation techniques. At Sherwood, our employees and robot work fluently together to complete the weldments in a timely manner. Our design team works diligently to create the best design for the project while also instilling our innovation techniques that give us the ability to weld efficiently and safely. All designs, fixturing, and welding is done in-house here at Sherwood.

Our specialty is making internal dunnage for shipping racks to prevent damage for the automotive industry. We are also the leading manufacturer of a 100% cable-driven engine saddle. Having an automated system on your rack can improve your loading and unloading time. This system will keep your employees' hands out of the rack which will prevent injury. Capabilities

Robotic Welding
We are equipped with 12 FANUC robots, each paired with Lincoln 450 Power Wave MIG welding machines. These advanced robots are engineered to handle large volumes of parts with precision, making them capable of managing production runs in the thousands.
Doosan 5700 CNC
We own a highly automated tool used for precise manufacturing and machining of parts. It operates through computer programming, which directs the machine to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding with high precision.
